XP Adventis or Garrett AT Pro.....Help !!

I have an AT PRO and a DEUS both good machines but I must admit I prefer the DEUS so light to use. AT PRO simple to use, still learning with the DEUS but a pleasure to use.

I own a Adventis good machine highly recommend, I did own a AT pro one of the early ones problems galore, might just have been unlucky.

I've had a hammy drought for the last two years.
But found the Adventis good on Romans, Vicky coppers, and Vicky silver shillings.
Found the top of a silver hat pin. It is good on small stuff the pasture land I go on it finds AirTunes pellets and the ubiquitous four hole buttons.
The double discrim is well worth the extra over the 150 they both operate on the same frequency

Do you think the hammy drought could be a weakness in Adventis ?

No just crap ground my theory is if it's there and you walk over it.
It finds buttons etc so is capable of small targets,, I sold my XPGMP and got a Fisher f75 but much prefer the XP  adventis I started with tone ID machines old habits die hard

Nailman from what I have read tones are more reliable than most screens, that's my take on several comments anyway mate.

I agree I always trust the mk1 ear drum

I have read some very good reports on XP and C Scope and no screens on either (except the posh Deus  )

I watched the Norfolk Wolf DVD on using all the XP range and he talks about learning the tones and growing to know the bad iron targets.  He knew a thing or two mate.
