Finally got to open my deus i purchased from france for £1,200, all in order remote & manual in english 3 coils+stems headphones 3 charging clips 1 extra stem 5 coil bolts and the case.

Tis a fact though that many detectors are on sale in other countries at much lower prices than here.
Moral...shop around but be careful re warranties

I have been reading about this purchase on another site.

As I said there the price is great, but with the machine having a long 5 year warranty getting it back to the sales outlet under warranty could be at least a bit troublesome and time consuming.   Jerry.

You will always hear about a super cheap deal from time to time, but there may be other circumstances that warrant the deal, ex demo, shop soiled, family friend and so on. A good deal comes along from time to time but its not always available to everyone.
Did you go into a shop and buy it for that price Ivor ?

The detector is brand new they had to buy one because it had to be in english
and not shop soiled or ex demo and no i did not go to the shop the price included postage.
IF people want one buy one take the chance

I have a full deus and also over christmas bought a lite with ws4s and 11 inch coil for 560 also from france..im guessing from the same supplier as i seen that offer also..cant go wrong really and  also with regards to the warranty...shipping back to france is no big problem is it? Also there english was just as good as mine so i cant see anything getting lost translation so to speak if you did have any problems. This was all thru a official supplier listed on the xp website...cant go wrong imo

There are good prices out there if you are willing to take a chance like kipperman32 said not much of a deal to send back to france go for it.

 Uk prices are the worst in the world.Fact.
Im thinking along these lines.Buy abroad.I have had 4 deus in one form or the other.Never had to send any part back.
Even if you did have to send back. A little Chinese back up, would do the job nicely while your waiting,
