Garret AT Pro International v Minelab Etrac on pasture
« on: September 07, 2016, 08:43 am »
Hello all
I've read the discussion on the earlier thread on the Deus v Etrac and understand the differences in the two machines and why people say one would suit certain ground better than the other ..
My question is how does the AT Pro compare to the more expensive Etrac on deep Pasture .. Is the Etrac worth the extra money being twice the price? Thank you.

A lot of people with Garrets make the upgrade to the Nel Tornado coil, and there's a lot of evidence that this is a great combination for the AT Pro. I don't know if the E-Trac is rain resistant but I know the AT Pro is completely waterproof.

When I was choosing my first machine I called Regton, and Nigel spoke well of the AT Pro. May be worth having a chat?

Thanks for the reply Kieth (I spoke to Nigel too) .. I've also placed an order for a Nel Tornado coil, thanks for the advice 👍
