What would you do with the money - Poll

You have lets say £800 to spend and your detecting days are pretty un productive, do you buy a new machine with the money or track down a land owner with some really productive land and give him the 800 smackers to search it with your old machine.

Pay a land owner, but not for a one off search. It would need to be an agreed period and probably backed up with a contract.
I have actually tried it to some extent while looking to rope in another 3 more people to up the ante.
Had no luck so far using this method.

For 800 quid I would want a prolonged stay on the land, and I suspect I would get it.  That would mean more to me than a posh new machine.  In the last few months my finds rate has exploded, same machines, new land.  No brainer to me.

    I'd rather swing a Maplin job on a great site than a Equinox,Deus etc on a crap site...can't find it if it's not there.

      Top machines are needed to get the remaining hard to detect finds off a worked out sites, most of us don't have endless permissions on prime sites  :(

Productive land for me with plenty of history, Bronze Age in one field, Roman in another, Medieval etc etc etc

Oooh, I might buy an Equinox (sorry, I'm sounding ever so uncool, I meant "the Nox" ;D) if one was ever available to purchase. Failing that, it would take a very tempting piece of undetected land to part with that sort of money, though you don't say how long the hypothetical access would last for, and how exclusive it might be.
