Headphone conundrum
« on: April 25, 2021, 08:56 am »
Hi chaps ( hope i can still say that  ;D)

I'm in the market for some new headphones to team up with the Vista Smart with plenty of adjustment for my fairly large head + cap which i always wear .

I was thinking of biting the bullet and going for some Gray Ghosts ?

In your opinion are these worth the money ?

I want something that will really last  and really comfortable  ::)

Any thoughts welcome  :)

Cheers Keith ..

After some research I'm now eyeing up some BJ one's ?

I've just got a new permission and I'm basically wanting a new set and keep the old one's as spares  :)

I have used a set of  BJ headphones and thought they were quality, also used the Chef-phones again quality sound, just tight on head,.Don't think Chef-phones are still about!

For me the weak point on headphones has always been the lead connections, just make sure these are the plug in replaceable type .

Personally I like the adjustable volume for each ear and a kill switch.

Don't think you will go wrong with BJ's..

I second what Rusty said about BJs headphones. Good tone and upgraded by a detectorist who understands what most people want from a set of headphones.

The only thing that stops me taking the GM1+UK out is the lack of a wireless set up.  Once you get used to being untethered it's hard to go back. Well it is in my case anyway  ;D
