My only one found gold coin came from a field which gives almost no finds at all.
Also more than one hoard in our area has been found in similar silent areas.

My little Gold Stater came from an area that has produced nothing of note in the past and I didn't expect anything.  I was only there to grab some exercise in lockdown and I went home with Celtic gold !
