After 5 years it's finally happened to me, a request to find lost jewelry.
The farmers wife has lost an earring, on 500 acres, but luckily she has a good idea of which area !
I have had so many happy times on that farm, so it would be wonderful to find it for them. Wish me luck.

Good luck sounds like you will need it ...

Hopefully she can narrow it down to just one of those 500 acres Keith!

Good luck Keith , i love trying to reunite owners with their jewellery.
I found chaps wedding ring on the edge of a pond once and he was delighted which have me a massive buzz :). ( And signal ;D)
He was spot on in the area in which he'd thought it was which is not always the case mind you ::)
I spent half a day looking for a bee keeping tool a couple of months back (he'd had it for years and it was sentimental value) but to no avail .
Be brilliant if you find it mate ,you never know 👍

Good luck

Sadly it was not to be folks. It was a small gold stud earing, and it was lost in a paddock next to a wire fence and a hut, so the iron was tricky to avoid and it was lost right by the fence, with long grass that's full of junk on the other side. I even tried crawling with the pointer near to the fence but it was a forlorn hope.
It was still nice to be thanked for my efforts, and to have a good old chat with the farmer. Oh well, back to the fields we go !

The bee keeper's tool was near a fence so i know exactly what you were up against mate >:(

I advertised my jewellery and lost agricultural tool/part recovery services on ours and surrounding villages websites as a sneaky way of getting an intro for a permission.
Both ideas worked as I’m regularly asked to find lost jewellery, cast horseshoes, missing parts, etc plus I’ve gained quite a few permissions in the area ;D
