Viking 1

ended up going for the bounty hunter jr, was £25 cheaper and looks just as good if not better on youtube videos
-
what a shame you ignored all the advice given ! still your money your choice
-
Bounty hunter is a good little detector.I know ive used one.
It will beep over a non ferrous target just as well as a Viking 1 .
-
i got plenty more advice on other groups too and alot said the BH is better, on youtube it also detects a little deeper than the viking and seems more child friendly. phoned a local club aswell and they advised the BH would be better for a 8yr aswell. not to mention it was cheaper too as it is already over my budget lol.

Garrett Ace 250. Tried, trusted, and loved by thousands. From what I have read it is the epitome of the starter machine.
