I've had my Deus for three years now and I still haven't had a control box cover that lasts. The XP one yellowed, the Pro-tector didn't quite fit and kept moving upwards and my current one (Searcher) is getting tatty and on Sunday I took it off because I couldn't read the signals in the sun. I'm not sure if this was because I'm having to wash it after muddy use. Anyway I need a new one and I was thinking of getting another Searcher simply because I'm not aware of anything better, but realising it will probably go the same way as the current one.
Anyway can anyone recommend the cover they are currently using ?

I think Kevin at Staffs detectors do some good covers also.

Got mine off fleabay from a lady who made one and all her friends wnated one so she started making to order. Not the sturdiest looking but lasted three years. I put the Pro-Tector back on recently as it's a little more rain resistant for the time of year.
