How do people get on with earring loss when detecting. Does wearing a earring aid help? Or makes no difference?
Reason I ask had a earring test last week, and test showed I have moderate earring loss on the higher tones . so this has got me thinking am I missing the quite deep signals with my Deus and will a earring aid help me or not.

I don't know if a hearing aid would help in this case as they just amplify general sound and not individual tones.I would imagine that a hearing aid would just increase the volume of the tones that your hearing is sensitive to and would not increase your sensitivity to a certain tone that you have lost your ability to hear as efficiently.
I would ask a hearing specialist as they obviously know a lot more than me about the subject but i think that a hearing aid cannot amplify a certain tone that you have lost the ability to hear.

Thanks for your input.
At the time I didn't think to ask the doctor , but as I understand it when I go for the hearing aid fittment they will tune it to my requirements from the data from the test.
Be good to hear from anyone who has hearing aid
