Title: iron and v5

I seem to digging more bigger iron and hot rocks with the hf coil and the lf coil on v5 anyone else noticed this?

Are you sure it is Hot rock, what XY screen reading do they give.
Also what ground balance are you using.

hi gary I used gb at 90 but on other fields have used pump gb doesn't seem to make any difference in what gb I use have not tried xy, will do next time and yes its hot rocks not coke etc. large iron not huge pieces sound good with a bit of iron buzz but found a brass rifle casing that sounded like iron but with a little bit of high tone so I thought I would dig it anyway and was surprised to see a brass case ? I did not dig as much iron in 4.1 version with your ultimate program it was either iron buzz or good tone.thanks.

Interesting, hot rock should never be detected (with a high tone) with GB at 90. Perhaps it is something else.
The XY should be dead flat -left right on HRock. Coke is the opposite - up down
As far as I am aware no settings have changed from 4.1 to 5.1.

 :) I've had the same thing on v5 recently, GB 90 although did not try the XY screen. Will try it with the XY screen this weekend.
