Title: Improvised Repair
Post by: The oil man on October 15, 2018, 07:30 pm
Managed to get out today after a long break and was looking forward to getting stuck in.  Unfortunately my coil bolt broke as soon as i got the first few swings in so had to botch it up with a stick  ::)
Can't really complain as it's the first problem I've had with the Deeptech and have emailed them to get a replacement.
I found just a few bit's of lead, foil and a few buttons but was just nice to get out. :)

Do you think it was something to do with lack of use or just bad luck?

Good thinking Oily. It may not be pretty but it did the trick.

No nothing much mate but i knew it would be quiet there.  Probably been lot's of detectotists over it at one time or another.  Not doing much detecting at all as got tennis elbow ( should have bought a Deus  ::)) and playing with other toys.
All repaired now with a new bolt so ready if and when i next get out.  ;)
