No Rusty , right in the middle
Was at a very big old house today with lot's of land and history and i popped the question .
Unfortunately it was a no as he'd let someone on before and then was continuously getting badgered ::) .
Shame as it looked potentially very productive but can't blame him .
A nice chap though :-X

My brother lives down there, he shoots on some land and said he could get me on detecting .
I'm in Kent and only get down now and again. but never taken him up..
I looked at the land and on paper it is very good!
I can ask for you if you want ..

That's very kind of you mate but time is the biggest problem with my other hobbies ::) and I can just about fit in some local detecting whilst keeping the peace indoors ;) ;D

Yes i think we all have mate but it's part of the hobby :-\
I'm not expecting much from this permission but it's right on my doorstep (landlords farm ) so i can walk there .
It's in a medieval route apparently so you never know ;)
Just nice to be out again and I've got another new permission to try soon .
It's funny because I've had a break for a few years and not constantly looking at fields and possibly permission has been a bit of a relief really .
Back researching and asking can become overwhelming and disappointing but it has to be done .
Got some new headphones and gear and I'm ready to get back on it :)
