11" coil

Went down the beach on the dry sand with 11" coil usually use the 9" coil , now the 9 coil will give a broken one way signal on bottle caps but the 11 sings out a good signal ? Is it a sensitivity issue ?. Thanks.

Try TX gain 1, the 11" coil is super sensitive.
