Hi Comrades
After taking some sound advice in regards coil cable at the base of the stem, I have taped it nice and tight with just enough for the coil to move fully in both directions, and ensure that unnecessary cable isn't hanging about where it can be picked up by the coil. Further up I have taped the coil again half way, and again near the control box. Is this overkill?
I have realised that if I was to acquire a second coil and lower stem it would be pretty hard to swap them with the 2 upper taping points in place. Basically, once you have fixed the lower cabling, is that all you need to do?
