Deteknix Headphones W3
« on: September 11, 2016, 05:29 pm »
Hello.
Ordered Deteknix headphones W3 on 22/08/16 they arrived the next day excellent, the headphones were as dead as a Dodo and would not accept a charge. Had to make a 60 mile round trip to return them and exchange for a working pair, they are ok so far. The transmitter now will not turn on, it is fully charged and has been used 3 times. Is this a known problem with Deteknix?
Thank you.

Mine packed up soon after I got them last year. Never bothered to do anything about it though.
I noticed the same ones were on E Bay but unbranded for about £35 a few months back.
Chinese unreliability as usual.

Bought these from a well known detecting establishment, have left a message on their site so will see what transpires. I am thinking a refund £74.95 will save me problems later on.
Thank you.

Cordless headphones are a great idea, blue tooth is getting better these days. But you do need reliability when in the field and that's where this product failed me.

I use a Deus so find it hard to go back to wired headphones when using another machine.
One day someone will make a good product.

Many thanks Sven.
But i would only want one or two pairs.
Do they sell them in smaller orders?

If XP can make such good wireless phones for the Deus then I am staggered someone in the West hasn't made a reliable trustworthy product for other machines and mopped up a fortune on all the people that desire such a product.

Hello.
Took the earphones back for a replacement set ,phones and sender unit. The new set looked identical apart from the sender charge lead now flat not round and in a completely different coloured box. Out with them Saturday and Sunday and they worked very well, found my very first hammered on Saturday, Henry 111 voided long cross, class 5 so I am told.
Thank you.
Colin.
